Veritá, meaning Truth in Italian, was founded by two best mates who both shared a passion and love of great coffee. Steve Virgona took a real interest in coffee roasting in early 2013 and set out to discover more about the process of roasting coffee. By sourcing green beans from all over the world and learning about how and where the green beans are grown, he was able to use this knowledge to create his own styles of coffee roasting which by mid 2014, he had mastered. He also became creative in his roasting by creating his own blends to suit not only his own tastes but to his customers individual profiles as well.
In early 2015, after drinking many espresso's together, best mates Steve Virgona and Robert Amato decided to begin a partnership together so they could share their unique coffee tastes and blends with Melbourne's cultured coffee drinkers.
With Robert's experience in coffee sales, training and service and Steve's knowledge and passion for roasting, they have both set out to deliver the most true experience in coffee drinking which is VERITÁ.
